In 1970s, the quick couplings were yet popular in Taiwan and relied on import. The main businesses were for state petroleum industries and offshore industries. However, imported couplings were often in short supply or even stock out, hopeless customers thus came to the founder and it begins the story of Shyang-Twu, quick couplings start to be made in Taiwan.

Shyang-Twu was a CNC processing plant making nothing related to quick couplings. In order to make quick couplings, the founder invested a lot of effort in making technological breakthroughs and cooperated with the national research institutes to obtain the most advanced technology. With the professional processing technique, precise tolerance control and quality insistence, Shyang-Twu has become one of the major manufacturers and exporters of a complete line of cam & groove couplings in Taiwan.

The founder has leaded the team for over 4 decades, he believes “persistence leads to success” and this spirit is followed by all the crew. He started everything with himself from product design, machining to package. He has been passing this spirit to the second generation and training him for over 10 years. He believes by taking the responsibility will ensure the well-being of the employees. Aiming to achieve sustainable development.
